Discrimination in searches: Rs.135.86 crore fine for Google


In a complaint filed with Google in the search query, the company has been fined Rs 135 crore 86 lakhs.

The complaint was filed in 2012 by Google for discriminating the name of Matrimoni dot com. The Indian Institute of Competition Monitoring Commission, which inquired about this, has said that more people have been involved in the use of Google searching.

So, in India, the company has announced a fine of 135 crores 86 lakh rupees on revenue for the company.
